OTR are looking for a motivated and methodical HR Officer to provide support to OTR staff and volunteers in a varied and fast paced role in a busy, growing team.

Working as part of OTR’s HIVE team, this is a pivotal role within our central services, providing a point of contact for general HR enquiries, offering information, advice and administrative support to external applicants, staff, volunteers and team managers.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring our core HR functions are excellent, leading on the day-to-day HR administration of OTR including recruitment and selection, onboarding and all activities related to the full HR lifecycle.

The successful candidate will have practical experience in providing administrative support in a busy HR environment and have knowledge and understanding of HR processes. You will be highly organised, proactive and work with great attention to detail, commitment to HR best practice and an understanding of the need for confidentiality. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build positive, productive work relationships with colleagues and ensure that our HR offer remains a trusted and approachable service for all.
