Community Engagement Liaison Worker (Gambling Treatment Service)

We have immediate need for a Community Engagement Liaison Worker, working within our Gambling Treatment Service. This position is full-time (35 hours per week).

Based – South West England
Salary – £19,479 – £21,102

We are seeking an liaison worker who will provide efficient and high quality administrative support to Ara Gambling Service, who enjoys engaging with other organisations, and working as part of a team.
The role is to provide high quality administrative support to both clients and the Ara Gambling Treatment Service team. Community liaison staff will work collaboratively with workers in other regions, and with key development staff within their area. They will be first point of contact to those contacting Ara and must therefore provide an efficient, polite, and effective service.
Some of the key tasks for this role include:

 Ensuring databases, spreadsheets and documents are up to date and meet Ara’s standards and policies.
 Supporting and providing clients with necessary information and variety of options to help them make educated decisions about available support.
 Supporting Community development teams to maximise Ara’s community outreach.
The ideal candidate will:
 Have excellent communication skills, be proactive, able to work as part of a team, be able to manage their own workload and have the ability to build relationships.
 Be able to work flexible hours, covering shifts between 9am – 8pm.
