Marketing and Communications Executive

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, resourceful, and creative individual to join our vibrant team. This role supports the campaign planning and implementation of messaging and creative across Bristol SU’s internal and external communications leveraging a variety of different channels including writing content for web, print and social media, and external press.

Working closely with our Marketing Manager, and the rest of our marketing team, you’ll help further establish Bristol SU’s distinctive tone of voice, help a wide range of SU teams enjoy success with their campaigning, and support our reactive communications work.

You’ll use your skills to deliver inclusive content that speaks to our ever-changing student audience and adds value to their experience at university and interactions with the SU. And you’ll help us ensure that everyone who creates content on behalf of the brand is contributing to our vision for how we communicate.

What will you bring?

  • You’ll have experience in writing copy for print and digital platforms from creative briefs and as reactive communication.
  • You’ll be able to work with our wider marketing and communications team to deliver engaging and inclusive campaigns and projects.
  • You know how to utilise our tone of voice to get the most out of our communications, and support wider SU teams in developing their messaging across our channels.
  • You’re a skilled communicator and have a passion for leveraging different digital and print mediums to reach our diverse audience and create message which resonate with students.
