Talking Money is a Bristol-based money advice charity with a working purpose to ‘help people with their money worries in a way that suits them so they can move forward with their lives’. Our team works to provide free, independent, specialist debt and benefits advice, and general money guidance, information and support to local citizens.  

We are looking to recruit a Community Money Adviser to be part of the BOOST Community Project at the Wellspring Settlement, with funding until the end of September 2026. The role involves training and mentoring volunteers in a community setting as well as providing 1:1 advice and advocacy in debt and welfare benefits directly to clients.

You will start with 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by an additional day for each full year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days. We have a flexible working culture that works well for parents or other caring responsibilities with a mix of office and home based working, a TOIL (Time Off In Lieu) system, Cyclescheme, Techscheme and pension scheme with 5% employer contribution.
