Reboot West is an innovative programme working with care experienced young people across Bristol, BANES, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. The Reboot programme supports young people to sustain education, employment, and training. Our support model is based on long term, relationship-based coaching using the youth version of ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.) 

1625 Independent people are in the process of securing pioneering and prestigious funding that will enable us to support a further 265 care experienced young people for up to 3 years, whilst also undertaking the largest and strongest evaluation ever of a youth unemployment programme of this type. The intention of this evaluation would be to assess if long term therapeutic support is better for young people, whilst being more cost effective for the government and so to change the system nationally.

We are currently looking for a full-time Team Leader provide line management for our Reboot Coaches and support the operational management of the project.

Who are we?
We are a leading youth homelessness charity based in the Southwest, working with over 1,500 young people. What you will be doing: 

• As a highly organised and autonomous person you will be assisting the Reboot Operations Manager to lead operational delivery of the Reboot West project. This will involve using your ability to thrive in a busy environment, especially during times of project change. 
• If you are passionate about providing supportive, developmental, and motivational line management then this role is for you! You will manage a small team of Coaches, with caseloads of young people living in Bristol and B&NES. 
• Being self-aware and reflective, you will have excellent interpersonal skills and be a skilled communicator at all levels. These personality traits are essential as this role involves building and maintaining stable and lasting relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
• As someone committed to expanding your knowledge and skills you will be willing to take on lead specialisms within the team and attend relevant training and development opportunities. 
• This is also a case-holding position so you will have the opportunity to provide high quality EET and wellbeing support to a small caseload of young people in a psychologically informed way, using ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) informed approaches. 

You will be in the Reboot West team and your line manager will be our Operations Manager, Hetty Crampton.

Contract details:

• Hours per week: 37.5 (this represents full time)
• Contract type: Permanent
• Pay: £29,439 - £32,020 (NJC scale points 22-25, starting at the bottom of the scale) (NJC pay award pending)
• The location: You will be based in Kingsley Hall and the Youth Education Services office, close to Bristol’s main train and bus stations as well as the vibrant city centre. There is an option to work from home for a few days a week if desired / required. Additionally, you will work from the local authority offices to maintain links with our partners in the BCC and B&NES throughcare teams.
