We are searching for a Head of Communities 

 

We are seeking an experienced manager to lead and manage the strategic development of the charity’s work in all areas that fall under the Communities department, and to support that of other departments. To work with and for our community of benefit to achieve ‘what matters to them’ in ways that align with the charity’s values and ethos. 

 

Reporting to the CEO, this position is responsible for leading our community development team to deliver existing and new activities and services, which includes our work with NHS Health and Bristol City Council Social Care. This position also has responsibility for the charity’s external communications and design team. 

 

As a Member of the Senior Management Team there would be a contribution to the cross departmental requirements of the organisation, as well as the development and delivery of the strategic aims and objectives of the charity. 

 

Location: The Southville Centre, Beauley Road, Bristol BS3 1QG 

Salary: £40,942.94 per annum, pro-rata 

Contract Type: Permanent. 

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week). 

Holiday: 31 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays), with additional long service annual leave days (capped).
