Come along yourself and join our team or bring a bunch of friends, family or colleagues!

Aid Box Community will be selling (in our shop) and delivering (across Bristol) Christmas trees, to raise MUCH needed funds to continue to provide basic essential items, community and welcome to Bristol's displaced individuals and families - We desperately need volunteers to help us !

We need engaging, energetic, dynamic and passionate Volunteers for 2 KEY ROLES:

KEY ROLE 1  Volunteer shop keepers

  • To help customers choose a tree
  • Upsell additional items eg. Lights, Tree Stands
  • Using ABC payment systems to help customers to purchase their tree
  • Sometimes to carry wrapped trees from inside to outside the shop
    • Get those thermals on and wrap up warm as operations will be inside AND outside.
    • Bring food and drinks and a mug for hot drinks.
    • Ensure you only bring belongings which you can keep on your person - storage is limited.

KEY ROLE 2  Volunteer Tree Delivery Drivers

  • To help to deliver our Refu-TREES all around Bristol
  • Own van/car essential
  • Bring a buddy to accompany you and navigate your journey
  • Mileage available to claim (optional)

Could you be flexible in roles?

We would love if you could let us know if you can be flexible in roles if needed. I.e. it may turn out that we require more delivery drivers than shop helpers, so if you have a car and fancy delivering trees then we would love to know.

We provide

  • A short induction when you first arrive for a session
  • Volunteer Support throughout sessions
  • Tea/Coffee
  • Great company
  • Mileage for those delivering Christmas Trees in own vehicles

All profits from ABC Christmas Shop sales will enable ABC to continue supporting and bringing hope and love to vulnerable refugees and asylum seekers in Bristol.

The Christmas Shop is ABCs biggest individual fundraising opportunity of the year, but we need your help - Our incredible volunteers make our Christmas shop what it is ♥️

Sprinkle some sparkle across Bristol this December!

Please join us!  We can't do it without you!
