Role title: Therapeutic Horticulture Volunteer at Robinson House Care Home (BS14 8ET)
Purpose of the role: Supporting elderly residents to engage in our weekly therapeutic gardening sessions at Robinson House care home in Bristol, BS14 8ET. You will help participants to engage in nature-based activities and with each other, with the aim of improving their wellbeing in a holistic way (mentally, physically, cognitively, socially).
What you will be doing:
Helping set up resources and materials for activities
Supporting participants socially and with nature- based activities (gardening and green crafts)
Passing on any queries or issues to project leaders
Helping pack away at end of session
