At St Monica Trust, we're committed to communities where older people flourish. We have established a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional care and support in our retirement villages and care homes, by providing opportunities for our residents to enjoy treasured relationships, exercise choice and feel valued. We call these our three Cs - Connection, Contribution and Choice.
We are looking for volunteers to support our Gardening Team at two of our sites in Westbury-on- Trym to help maintain the gardens for our residents and support with various gardening tasks.
The volunteer role is one day per week for 2 hours (or more, if the volunteer would like), the day and time is flexible, and can be agreed to suit you. You will be well-supported and guided by our gardening team and all gardening equipment/tools will be provided.
If you have an interest in gardening, enjoy being around older people and would like to get involved, please get in touch for more information, we would love to hear from you.
Please note: all volunteering roles are subject to a DBS check and two character references.
