Details of Role: 

Bristol Wellbeing College provides an extensive programme of interactive, psychoeducational, recovery focussed courses to adults receiving support in both primary and secondary mental health care.  Our material is written and developed in collaboration with our learners, as experts by experience, and seeks to enable people to take control of their mental wellbeing by learning tools, skills, and strategies.  We aim to empower people to develop hope, meaningful relationships, autonomy, and resilience to seek opportunity and fulfilment.  Year on year independent analysis shows engagement with the College can result in significant improvements in mental wellbeing and psychological functioning. 

 

Quality and Review Officer  We are a small, supportive, friendly team.  This is an interesting and varied role that is part data led, part client contact, and part quality and development focussed.  It encompasses the ability to blend office and home working and be key in helping us develop our service.  If you are enthusiastic about making a difference to mental ill-health and wellbeing, spreadsheets make your eyes light up, and you have good interpersonal skills, this could be the role for you!

 

About the Role

You will:

Enter, manipulate, interpret, and analyse data using our CRM and Excel.

Work with colleagues on reporting systems to evidence College work and impact.

Conduct periodic case studies.

Work with colleagues to process enrolment and booking applications.

Work with colleagues to provide pastoral guidance to applicants.

Review, compile, and maintain delivery risk assessments and standard operating procedures. 

Work with colleagues to maintain and improve impact, quality and develop the service.

Provide administrative support and occasional classroom support, as demands dictate.

Work with colleagues to grow our service user involvement and volunteering initiatives.

Encourage a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion.

 

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

To apply for this role, you will:

Have excellent English, mathematical and statistical skills, with related experience/qualifications to a minimum of A Level.

Be highly proficient in data entry, management, and analysis, with related experience/qualifications.

Be experienced and competent at using MS applications, in particular, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. 

Be able to produce documentation that is thorough and accessible to a range of audiences. 

Have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences. 

 

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Qualifications/experience in quantitative/qualitative research methods.

Knowledge/experience of quality assurance and GDPR.

Experience/qualifications in data base use. 

Experience working in a client facing role.  

Experience/qualifications in education, mental health provision and/or social care.

Experience of using mental health services (being an expert by experience) or caring for someone accessing services.
