Details of Role:

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families? Would you like to apply your writing talents, research skills and audience-led approach to play your part towards the strategic fundraising and varied communications activities of an established and impactful local mental health charity?

We are looking for a friendly individual to join our passionate and committed team. You will be working with the Fundraising and Communications Manager to research and write fundraising proposals for our Bridge in Schools outreach service, which brings positive change to disadvantaged and at-risk children, including those living in deprivation or with special educational needs and disabilities. And you will help to create high quality marketing and digital media content that helps us communicate our work to a variety of audiences.

You will have the confidence to work on your own initiative and deal with people at all levels of seniority. You will be familiar with using Word and Excel and able to pick up other systems with ease. If you have some experience of working with design software, such as Canva, that would be beneficial but is not essential. However, awareness of marketing principles and an interest in visual content creation is important.

In return, we offer flexible working arrangements and the chance to be part of a small but highly motivated and Supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to make a real difference to a local charity that has been helping people with their mental health for over 40 years.

This post is for 3 days, 21 hours per week (can be worked flexibly over 5 days and/or with some working from home).

Salary £19,000 - £22,000 pro rata, depending on experience.
