Details of Role:

Perinatal Mental Health organisation Rockabye seeks an experienced Operations Co-ordinator for referrals and administrative work.  This is a fantastic opportunity to work our team and gain knowledge and experience of perinatal mental health work.

Rockabye is funded by Bristol City Council, NHS England and the Family Hubs programme to deliver groups supporting parents and babies with their relationships and mental health.  Our programmes have been delivered in children’s centres in Bristol since 2005.  Group sessions comprise parents and babies nourishing their connection through talking, singing together, movement and sensory play.  The service also runs groups in North Somerset and South Gloucestershire when funding allows.  At the heart of Rockabye’s work is ensuring equitable access for all families to the groups that we run.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, and conscientious administrator to work with the team in a part-time capacity.  The Operations Co-ordinator role has two chief areas of responsibility.  As the central point of contact for all referrals to Rockabye, the co-ordinator will make a vital contribution to the daily running of the service.  Working alongside the Operations Manager, this role will also involve broader administration duties for the service.  Please see the attached job description for further details.

Rockabye is a small, growing operation and the successful candidate will be joining the team at an exciting time.  This is a busy, part-time role which requires effective multi-tasking and strong decision-making skills.  We are looking for an excellent communicator who enjoys helping people and building positive working relationships. The ability to use initiative and take ownership of tasks is essential, as is a strong attention to detail.   A genuine interest and/or experience of working in parent-baby mental health work would be a definite advantage.

Equality, Representation and Inclusion Statement:

Rockabye’s priority is to build a mental health service fit for every parent and baby we aim to support. We recognise that there are structural and systemic inequalities in place in our society and we are determined to address them and work to create a culture of equality, representation and inclusion within our groups and within our organisation. We actively encourage applications from minoritized groups who are under-represented in our organisation and within the perinatal mental health voluntary sector. We are fully committed to making this endeavour the heart and soul of Rockabye.

How to Apply:

If you are interested in applying, please read the role description carefully and send your CV with a separate covering letter explaining to us why you are the right person for this opportunity.
