Bristol City Council is inviting expressions of interest from community-based organisations to take a lease of the new St Peter's Community Centre, which is due to be completed by April next year. This will be the Council's first new community centre in 20 years,and presents a great opportunity for one or more VCSE organisations to create a space that makes a meaningful difference for local people.

Applicants will need to provide the necessary funding to furnish the building, as well as the requisite enthusiasm to manage the facility. 

To serve the needs of the local community, you will need to understand and be able to work closely with local residents.

You'll also need to have the necessary expertise to make this into a successful new community venture.

The Council would also be open to a consortium bid by two or more organisations that wish to jointly manage the lease, operate the building, and deliver activities.
