St. Monica's Trust is providing grants to allow the wider communities, of which they are a part, to hold their own celebrations.

This might involve you making sure that your street party is accessible so that your older neighbours can comfortably sit and take part. It might include an event that strengthens relationships between younger and older neighbours with intergenerational activities, or one that enables older people in your neighbourhood to celebrate in a way that work best for them, e.g. coffee morning, storytelling event, gallery of photos from previous jubilees. Whatever you choose to do, older people must be at the heart of it, and we encourage applications where older people have designed or influenced the idea.

The Fund is aimed at both informal groups as well as more established ones. Un-constituted groups can apply for up to £250, and constituted organisations can apply for up to £500.
