Closing Date:

Contract Type:
Volunteer
Location:
Bristol
Details of Role:

We are the Bristol Disability Equality Forum, an organisation of Disabled and Deaf people who live, work or study in Bristol.

We are looking for Disabled people to join us as Energy Volunteers.  This includes people with physical impairments, neurodiversity, mental health difficulties, health conditions, or other impairments.

You will be trained and supported to visit Disabled people to make small changes in their homes to help keep their bills down and keep warm in ways that will also help the planet.  This can include steps such as fitting new light bulbs that will save energy, stop cold air getting in around gaps in windows and doors, and save heat from their radiators.

Training will take place in March and April 2023, so we would like a group of volunteers in place by then.  We would love to hear from you if this sounds like something you would like to do.
