We have an opportunity for a new colleague to join our St George’s House team as the manager of the service. Who are we?
We are a leading youth homelessness charity based in the Southwest, working with over 1,500 young people. What you will be doing:

  • Using your skills and experience to line manage and/or coach a team to empower them to be at their best.
  • Ensuring the smooth running of a 24-hour staffed supported accommodation scheme, from completing rotas, ensuring the building is safe & secure, landlord liaison, that project workers have the tools they need in order best support young people.
  • By being well organised, effective, and efficient you will collate data and complete reports on a range of issue for internal and external partners.
  • Using your problem-solving skills, you will support the team to ensure the safety and security of the scheme and those within, including managing challenging behaviour.
  • You will be taking ownership of maintaining a positive rent culture, supporting, and empowering colleagues and young people in managing their accommodation charges.

You will be in the St Georges House Team and your line manager will be our Programme Manager (Accommodation).

Contract details: 

  • Hours per week: 40 (this represents full time hours)
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Pay: £32,020 - £34,723 per annum (NJC scale 25 – 28 starting at the bottom of the scale).
  • The location: You will be based at St George’s House in central Bristol, within easy access of public transport, but with car parking if required.  There is scope for flexible working.
