Bristol Pride festival runs on the power of volunteers – without your invaluable support, we simply couldn’t do it.

Pride is a protest!  We use our political voice to amplify, maintain and further LGBT+ human rights in Bristol and beyond. We welcome everyone who wants to celebrate, champion and progress LGBT+ human rights to join us. Bristol Pride Parade relies on volunteers to ensure the successful running of the parade and to ensure the safety of those who attend. 

This is a great role if you want to see the whole parade. You’ll be working with our traffic management team on our road closures and ensuring that people are able to enjoy the parade safely. This is a key role, and you’ll be buddied up to support each point along the parade.

We’ll be providing a full brief in advance to make sure you know where you’ll be and what you’ll be doing.

You'll need to arrive at 9.45 for a briefing and to get into positions. The Parade leaves at 10.45am taking about 1.5 hours to complete.
