Starting your Theory of Change
Theory of Change (ToC) is a very useful tool for your organisation to use to define your impact, work more effectively as a team and communicate your value to external stakeholders and funders. The course will enable you to understand and implement a basic ToC process.
Who is the course for? Staff, Trustees and volunteers with responsibility for, and knowledge of, their organisations strategic development and impact.
This course will cover:
- What is a ToC and why is it useful?
- What does a basic ToC look like?
- What are the key elements?
- Ensuring the widest possible involvement in ToC development
- Linking your ToC to evaluation
In order to benefit from this course you will need to have a good overview of your organisation, including a clear understanding of what it does and what its aiming to achieve.
If your organisation has a document that clearly expresses what impact you have, please bring this with you.
