Play streets can form part of covid recovery for children and communities. How can community organisations, councils and activators support residents to make play streets happen?

About this event

Playing Out, community workers and residents will talk about how to support people to organise play streets, including those who start with less confidence and resources.

We will discuss the spectrum of support needed, including:

  • basic signposting to Playing Out's free resources
  • going leafletting with people
  • help with filling in forms
  • attending the first play street session for moral and practical support

Every organisation wanting to support residents will have differing levels of resource and different priorities. We will discuss a range of ways to support.

There will be time for questions at the end.
