Ashley Down After School Club

Ashley Down After School Club is a not-for-profit organisation providing affordable, quality child care for children aged 4 to 11. We run every evening after school from 3:15pm to 5:45pm, collecting children from the Ashley Down Infant and Primary Schools at Downend Road and Brunel Field. We are based at Horfield United Reformed Church at the corner of Downend Road and Muller Road.

We are able to cater for 48 children per session, with a maximum of 12 children from Brunel Field (due to transport constraints).

We also offer a holiday playscheme running in each of the school holidays, in service days and election days.

If you would like to volunteer with us it would be a great opportunity to gain experience in a childcare setting with a broad age range of children. We are able to offer a wide variety of activities that will give you a clear and full understanding of working with primary school children, and have a lot of fun taking time to help children play and develop.

The club is OFSTED registered and we adhere to the EYFS framework for children in reception classes.
