BrAMS is a unique centre of excellence, which offers, New MS treatments, new drug trials, leading Stem Cell Research, has Four MS Specialist Nurses, a Physiotherapist, Three MS Neurological Consultant Doctors, two Neuro Registrars and two GP's specialising in MS. There is also a full team of Research Doctors looking at ways to use Stem Cells to repair damaged caused by MS and to hopefull halt the desease. Shaun McCarthy, Voluntary Fundraising Manager, has MS and has a small team of volunteers who help raise funds, although more are needed.
We have a wide range of information covering all aspects, sypmtoms and treatments for Multiple Sclerosis.
A growing number of people are coming to the centre, so much so we will need to expand in the near future.
Although the Consultants are paid for by the NHS, many of the above mentioned staff are paid for by funds raised by BrAMS
