Bristol & District Tranquilliser Project

We help people who are involuntarily addicted to prescribed psychotropic medication, mainly tranquillisers, sleeping pills and anti-depressants. We were set up in 1985 and become a registered charity in 1996. We run withdrawal groups and provide individual counselling . We run a helpline 4 days a week. We also run an outreach group on Tuesday afternoons at the NHS Walk-in Centre in Knowle, and on Thursday mornings at Southmead Health Centre. We are funded by the Bristol Primary Care Trusts. Our service is free and confidential
