Hartcliffe & Withywood Ventures (HWV) is a development trust based in the Hartcliffe and Withywood area of South Bristol. The organisation owns, manages and is based at the Gatehouse Centre. Principal activities are training and development courses for employed and unemployed people from 16 - 70 years old +. HWV runs a nursery and a cafe and manages workspace on two sites. Courses and Training available includes: Preparation for Work courses, Community Drop In Mon -Fri 10-12, Work Club for 19+, Online Job Search 19+, Knowing Me Knowing My Child, Parents Work It Out, Computer Training for 19+, Access to Achievement 16-24 years , Maths and English for 19+.
