Supporting Voluntary and Community Action
Love Windmill Hill is a community group. It's members live and/or work in the Windmill area. In essence the aim of the group is to engage in activities to improve and enrich the area for the benefit of all who live, work or play in the Windmill Hill area. Love Windmill Hill will initiate and co-ordinate specific campaigns to encourage an initiative which there is an overall consensus will be positive for the area and likewise will also campaign to challenge initiatives which could potentially negatively impact on the area - for example the local shop is up for sale. Love Windmill Hill has just carried out a survey locally to ascertain whether people want to campaign to keep the shop. Having done this the group is now working on a action plan to work out how this may be achieved.
