Penny Brohn UK (formerly Penny Brohn Cancer Care/Bristol Cancer Help Centre)is a charity that was founded 34 years ago. It supports men and women affected by cancer, as well as their families and supporters using the 'Penny Brohn Whole Person Approach'.
The Penny Brohn Whole Person Approach uses a range of complementary therapies and self-help techniques designed to help people deal with the emotional, physical and spiritual impact of a cancer diagnosis. Working alongside medical treatment, our approach helps people to manage the fear of cancer and regain some control back into their lives.
We offer individual appointments as well as residential and single day courses on The Penny Brohn Whole Person Aooroach. The Penny Brohn Whole Person Approach incorporates complementary therapies such as massage, shiatsu, art therapy, music therapy, healing and homoeopathy; as well as self-help techniques such as meditation, imagery, relaxation and breathwork; and also offers specialist support in terms of nutritional advice, counselling and psychotherapy.
