Fairbridge is a leading national charity supporting young people aged 13-25 who are disaffected or vulnerable. We specialise in running a long term personal development programme that combines personal support with practical learning experiences. We tackle ingrained behaviours and attitudes and enable young people to develop their personal and social skills. We offer young people a fresh start, some who will believe in them and a chance to prove themselves.<br>All young people start with an access course disigned to engage them with Fairbridge through a mix of activites. For over 16's we offer a week partly in Wales doing outdoor activities. For under 16's we work with schools and LEAs to provide a 10 day access course spread over 4 weeks.<br>On completing an access course each young person sets an action plan and joins our follow-on programme of art, drama, music tech, cooking, sport, creative writing and lots more. They can also sail our tall ship. We can help them move on the next step in life
