Supporting Voluntary and Community Action
Quartet Community Foundation is the community foundation serving the West of England (former Avon area). Charitable funds are managed on behalf of local people, companies, charitable trusts and statutory organisations and distributed as grants to support the work of small, local charities, voluntary organisations and community groups. When allocating grants, priority is generally given to small, community-based organisations that reach people who are disadvantaged or isolated; that enables people to take opportunities that would otherwise not be available to them; that involve local people in improving their own community; and that reflect the concerns and priorites of local people.
