Supporting Voluntary and Community Action
This Salvation Army Centre have a mission objective to help look after the spiritual and physical needs of all persons in the local community. Our suite of buildings have some form of activity taking place at regular intervals during the week, including hiring out selected rooms to local council groups.
1. Monday - Day centre starting at 9.30am providing coffee and toast, followed at 12. 00pm by a three course lunch at the hall. We have a limited supply of clothing and blankets which are handed out to the needy.
2. Thursday- We have a Pensioner Luncheon club for a small fee, a large number of people enjoy a 3 course meal followed by Fellowship.
