St Werburghs Arts Trail

St Werburghs Arts Trail committee are devoted to organising and conducting an Arts Trail for the community of St Werburghs in Bristol.
The Arts Trail is a free community event so any one can attend there are also spaces that cater to the needs of disabled users. The committee endeavour to involve more local businesses, community groups and charities in this cultural event.
Activities involved in coordinating a successful arts trail include:
• Informing and involving over 60 Artists to co-ordinate and take part in
this event for a fee.
• This is done through advertising as well as electronic mail outs, word of
mouth and the reputation we have gained over the years to run this event.
• We meet regularly to coordinate and liaise with artists to meet their
needs and are the sole contact for this event. Keeping a website updated as well as a web presence using new media to keep artists well informed.
• The committee put the fees from artists towards producing and printing a
brochure, which is distributed through every door in the area and city-wide.
The publicity and marketing of this event includes flyers, posters, word of mouth, web, newspapers and magazines.
• Booking and allocating spaces for artists to exhibit including the
community centre, the Jack Brimble centre, St Mattias PRU, the Self Build community space and the City Farm.
