The Wheels Project

Realising your potential starts with realising you have it!! We offer a range of structured, safe, educational programmes, based on motor vehicle repair and maintenance and road safety, to 14 - 24 year olds identified as disaffected, disadvantaged or socially excluded. Our programmes incorporate the philosophy of "Under the Bonnet, Behind the Wheel and In the Mind" so that young people have the chance to address issues practically and mentally. Our aim is to engage young people and provide motivation for them to develop the self-confidence and skills they need to change their own lives to benefit both themselves and their local community. Our objectives are to make a significant contribution towards raising achievement levels and school attendance and lowering levels of crime committed by young people and helping them into employment.
