Victim Support in Avon and Somerset

Victim Support works with people affected by crime both reported and unreported, offering emotional and practical help and support to assist them in dealing with crimes they have experienced. Victim Support also supports victims and witnesses in court explaining procedures and again offering emotional support.

The term 'victims of crime' may include families and friends who may have been affected by crime.

In providing these services Victim Support works closely with the main criminal Justice agencies, including the Police Crown Prosecution Service and Probation Services.
