Windmill Hill City Farm

Windmill Hill City Farm is an independent voluntary community project seeking to meet the needs of local people through a wide range of social, environmental, educational and economic activities within a framework of sustainble development.

The Farm delivers over 50 services to the local community every week. Our services include: 80 place daycare nursery for children aged 3 months to 5 years, High dependency elderly daycare groups, Mental Health suport services and programmes for people with additional needs, 50 allotments sited on our Community Garden, and a Working Farm.

We also run Farm Adventurers, an apportunity for children age 2-5 to expereience farming and nature while their parents access courses or workshops or have some time to relax, and the People Grow Project which provides opportunites and encourages the local community to take part in food growing, gardening, farming and other outdoor activities.

Also onsite we provide an all purpose sports pitch and changing rooms, Room hire facilities, an independant locally soureced shop, cafe, volunteering opportunities for all age groups and the Young City Farmers Club.
