Working Group for Older people (NP area 3)

The Working Group for Older People is a small group of local people working voluntarily within the area of Henleaze, Stoke Bishop and Westbury-on-Trym and linked to our local Neighbourhood Partnership - NP3.

Our main aims are (within our resources) to: Research, review, monitor and report on facilities for older people over 60 in the 3 wards. Consult with older people in this area to find out what their needs and priorities are. Manage and co-ordinate small projects that will benefit older people in this area. Influence additional issues and decisions as agreed by the N.P. for this age group and negotiate relevant activity and also funding from city-wide and other budgets.
