This is the VCSE Directory, a comprehensive listing of Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations in the Bristol area. If you don't see your own organisation listed, you can add your organisation to our directory.
We are working towards representing the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community in Bristol by consulting the community about what they want. Community development includes creating a network of LGBT organisations and working in partnership with LGBT organisations working with LGBT people. We also produce a newsletter with listings of the LGBT community, and lobby the council and work with them to promote LGBT equality.

Bristol YMCA has recently merged with Bath YMCA. Bath YMCA is the official charity, but the work in Bristol will still be known as Bristol YMCA.
Our organisation is committed to providing outstanding services to the communities we work with. We have sites and activities in Bath, North East Somerset, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire. Our work varies from excellent value accommodation in Bath city centre to childcare facilities across the various counties.
YMCA training is a National organisation committed to changing lives through learning. Working in close partnership with employers, YMCA Training Centre in Bristol offers a wide variety of work and centre based learning and development options for learners aged 16 +. We offer National Vocational Qualifications in business administration and horticulture. We also provide Support in finding a job or placement and access assistance in gaining a qualification.
Young and Free offers a social befriending service to young people between the ages of 18-30 year olds and aims to enable young physically and / or sensory disabled youngsters to build a social network if non-disabled friends. We also encourage active participation in the running of the charity both by members and volunteers. Twice monthly we organise group social events. Young Bristol is a youth-driven charity that works to offer a choice of opportunities and experiences for all young people. By working in partnership with a range of community-based youth clubs, and directly with young people through our programme of activities, we respond creatively to their needs and realise their capabilities.
The Youth Adventure Trust is a registered youth development charity working with vulnerable young people aged 11 to 14 years old from across Wiltshire and Swindon.
Our Youth Adventure Programme is an outdoor youth development course that provides young people a chance to try new things and challenge themselves. The programme enables them to experience success, learn to go beyond their own expectations and grow in confidence.
