This is a great opportunity to get involved in delivering our vital services across Avon & Somerset. Resolve West has a small staff team of 11, however has over 80 volunteers and we are looking for a Volunteer Treasurer to join our friendly and welcoming trustee board. As a Treasurer you will oversee the financial running of the charity in line with good practice and in accordance with the governing document and legal requirements and report to the board of trustees at regular intervals about the financial health of the organisation.
If you have financial experience and business planning skills, have a commitment to equal opportunities, and would like to make a difference to those impacted by conflict of crime we would love to hear from you.
The free and independent support we provide helps people to resolve conflict and to repair harm caused by criminal activity. We enable people to have a voice, to feel heard and for perpetrators to understand the impact of their actions and an opportunity to repair the harm caused so that people are able to move on from what they have experienced. The services we provide change peoples lives, enable people to feel more confident and resilient moving forward, helps them to feel safer in their homes and communities and improves community cohesion. We have been providing our services to individuals and communities in Bristol and the surrounding counties for over 35 years.
