Opportunity to be a leader and work with young refugees and asylum seekers on a summer residential programme!

Why we want you:

We are looking for Volunteer Leaders who can create a safe and fun environment, running engaging activities for the young people who attend our residential programmes and making sure they feel safe and cared for. You will spend an amazing 5 days volunteering with OSH on our Summer residential programme in August. 

What?

Our residentials are a chance for young refugees and asylum seekers aged 14-18 to come together and have four or five days of fun and excitement, supported by a dynamic and dedicated team of leaders and staff. 

Where?

This will be held just north of London, and we will be bringing Bristol/West based young people and volunteers down all together! (Travel covered by us.) If you live elsewhere we can support you to find the best travel option for you.

Key volunteering dates:

Leaders Training Weekend, 21st-24th July - a residential for Volunteer leaders only, this will be a planning meeting for all leaders running  summer/autumn programmes to meet each other, learn new skills and plan. We expect all leaders running summer/autumn residentials to attend this.

Summer Residential for Bristol & London Cohort -  21st to 26th August 2023.

Other opportunities beyond the summer residential - There will be opportunities to volunteer with the Bristol based regular OSH activities and future residentials throughout the year. We would love to have a chat about this should you wish to get involved!
