Full circle provides a youth service for young people in St Pauls and the surrounding area. GayWest is a long-established social and support organisation for gay men and women. We run a coffeeshop - the Rainbow CafÈ - in central Bath every Saturday morning from 10.30am - 12.30pm and this is open to everyone. For members, we run events and social activities outlined in our monthly magazine
GILL delivers the 'a SALT course' (Spiritual Activists Leadership Training). This is a yearly training programme, affiliated to schumacher Institute, helping people engaged in social / political / spiritual change work to achieve goals through action-reflection and group support. Girlguiding Bristol South Gloucester provides girls from age 5 up with the opportunity to pursue new challenges, make new friends and discover new skills and abilities they didn't know they had, by encouraging decision making and team work. All our weekly sessions for girls are run by local volunteers. Volunteers also handle our recruitment and the set up of new units and therefore new places for more girls.
Glenside Hospital Museum houses collections relating to the history of Bristol Psychiatric and Learning Disability Hospitals.
The Museum, set within the grounds of the building which opened in 1861 as The Bristol Lunatic Asylum, tells the 130 year story of a psychiatric hospital. We are a community garden provided supportive volunteering an an accessible place as well as a toddler group and childrens' activities
We organise a community event called the Goram Fair - we will train local residents to become marshalls and stewards
We provide an Air Ambulance service for the people of Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. Our Critical Care teams respond by helicopter or car, bringing our specialist skills and equipment to the people who need us most.
Credit Union serving Inner City to facilitate savings and loans facilities for all members of the community
