This is the VCSE Directory, a comprehensive listing of Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations in the Bristol area. If you don't see your own organisation listed, you can add your organisation to our directory.
We have various departments at UBU which run services and activities for students - advice, representation, democracy, sports, student development, societies and students can get involved in volunteering and fundraising for the local community. We have a Board of Trustees and run training and development for all our staff and students. We have projects which provide students with the opportunity to get involved in their local communities.
We organise three ten-week terms of activities - discussions, slide shows, talks, conversational French, poetry appreciation, music, drama, and anything in fact that will generate talking, and also in the summer, walking - both activities sadly neglected in modern society.

Unseen’s vision is a world without slavery. It works both on the frontline providing direct support to modern slavery survivors and on the big picture, tackling the systemic issues that allow slavery to survive. Victim Support works with people affected by crime both reported and unreported, offering emotional and practical help and support to assist them in dealing with crimes they have experienced. Victim Support also supports victims and witnesses in court explaining procedures and again offering emotional support.

We represent, develop and empower the VCSE sector in North Somerset. We provide development support, training and partnership brokerage. We run the North Somerset Volunteer Centre, quality marked by the Volunteering England VCQA system. We advocate for the VCSE sector strategically and ensure collaboration and partnership is effective. We deliver a number of projects and forum events such as the Voluntary Sector Forum.
