Our members have had their vocal chords removed due to cancer. Being unable to take part in conversations is very isolating. We (together with our partners) try to support each other. Hospital staff always attend and deal with our queries. There are many situations where lack of a 'voice' means we are automatically excluded. Emotions are locked as we cannot laugh or cry
The Community Fund gives one off gifts and short term grants to individuals in crisis who fit our criterea.
