Two-year grants of up to £40,000 are available From Rosa to specialised organisations in the UK that are led by and for Black and minoritised women and girls. The funding is for organisational development work relating to areas such as strategy, governance, leadership, alliances and partnerships, funding, demonstrating impact and systems and processes and is available to organisations that have been established for three years or more, and which have an average income of less than £100,000 per year.

Power to Change has teamed up with Crowdfunder to launch Community Business Crowdmatch to support new or existing community businesses. Crowdmatch will match fund each £1 raised by community businesses to a maximum of £10,000. This could include launching new business ideas to help your local area; to help meet increased demand; save a community space; or help bridge a funding gap.

The National Lottery Community Fund has launched a new £3.5million fund for community-led commemorative events and activities to celebrate The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022. The Platinum Jubilee Fund will award grants of up to £50,000 to seventy projects across the UK that bring people together to celebrate, build relationships, and create new opportunities and a legacy for future generations and the environment.

The National Lottery Community Fund has re-opened its Social Enterprise Support Fund to support social enterprises across England impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The fund, delivered in partnership with five social enterprise support agencies, will award grants of between £10,000 and £100,000 to help organisations rebuild and grow their income from trading, and help them to continue to support people facing increased social and economic challenges as a result of the crisis.

The Fat Beehive Foundation is an independent UK registered charity that provides small grants for websites and digital products to other small UK registered charities.

Their aim is to help these organisations carry out their work in a more efficient and effective way, resulting in positive social benefit. They provide highly specialised grants up to £2500, to organisations with an income of less than £1m per annum.

4 November, 2021

The Asda Foundation has launched a new grants programme to help small grassroots organisations improve local community spaces and places across the UK. The Investing in Spaces and Places Grant will provide funding of between £5,000 and £25,000 to help with building repairs, building improvement/development, and/or outdoor improvement/development for properties which the community organisations either own or lease. Costs could include materials, tradespeople, and equipment purchases/rental. Funding will be awarded on a regional basis, with 50% match funding required.

Community organisations can apply for funding of up to £10,000 if they have initiatives that encourage or support vaccination (not exclusively the COVID-19 vaccination) and might also:

help promote health and wellbeing, increase vaccination awareness, acceptance and uptake

or address a particular community need around reducing health inequalities.

 

All community groups are encouraged to apply, no matter how small or large their project is.

They give grants to support the struggles, fights, campaigns and projects of groups and communities facing discrimination (due to their class, ability, gender, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexuality, age, immigration status or other factors) and who are working towards justice and equality.
