Bristol City Council is asking for your views on the support provided by the SEND Sensory Support Service and how it can be improved.

The Centre for Deaf and Hard of Hearing People and WECIL are holding this event to share information about proposals for the redesign of the service. You will have the opportunity to give your views about how the service is run and how you think it can be improved.

There will be BSL interpreters and speech to text available.

Climate change is happening at a faster rate than we thought. 

And it seems, much faster than we are acting on it.

Around the world we are already seeing drought, crop-failures, flooding and migration. Bristol itself is vulnerable to climate change. There is a real risk to our food systems, to our economy and of increasing extreme weather, and the poorest communities will be hit first.

Next Link is inviting people to join its candlelit march to highlight the number of women and children affected by Domestic Abuse and Rape and Sexual Abuse. The march highlights the United Nation’s International Elimination of Violence against Women’s day.

A Celebration of Life for friends & families to mark the lives of those lost to drugs and alcohol.

"A time to come together to honour and remember our loved ones"

An afternoon led by friends and family members, featuring performances by local choirs.  Followed by mulled apple juice and mince pies from 5pm.
