BCAA and Bristol City Council along with other allies are hosting this meeting for any local groups or individuals concerned with illegal levels of air pollution in Bristol.

It is an opportunity to drop in, talk to some of our brilliant volunteers, and find out about the range of volunteering opportunities available at Above & Beyond. You can volunteer in the Fundraising Hub, at events in the community, in the office with staff, and much much more!

Making Change Happen our peer support project run by and for Disabled and older residents in Bristol. We meet monthly in four different areas of Bristol so that, in one area or another, there is a meet up almost every week.

The groups are open to Disabled people, older people and people living with mental distress or physical health difficulties. People who are isolated or feel left out are especially welcome .

Come and take part in a blindfold walk.

The first part of the session will include sight loss awareness training, and a chance to hear from a guide dog owner about their experience of living with sight loss.

Then we’ll show you sighted guiding techniques, and you’ll get a chance to go out for a 30 minute walk both as a guide and as someone who is blindfolded.

Not suitable for children. Booking Essential.
