BAND Ltd is running an online course for staff and managers in childcare and play settings, looking at resilience and mental health in the workplace. 

It will explore what stress is, how to increase resilience, look at what rights and responsibilities you have as an employer and employee, and show how to create a workplace wellbeing plan.

The course is linked to a range of Bristol Standard Dimensions, including relationships and interactions, and staffing, leadership and management. 

This training course will take place via Zoom.

Learn how to identify and deal with domestic abuse, and support the parents and children affected by it. We will cover legislation, statistics, children's wellbeing and development, and much more.

UNDERSTANDING FORCED MARRIAGE – 1 HOUR CPD ACCREDITED TRAINING (£10)                               

Sabeena Pirooz Director of the Sky Project will be providing a 1 hour accredited training session on the 19th March 2020. Tickets are £10 per session (plus a small administration charge) with all monies raised being put back into the charity. The training will take place at:

Forced Marriage Training (CPD accredited – 1 hour) with The Sky Project, a registered Bristol charity working to reduce the number of forced marriage cases in Bristol and the South West.

Sabeena Pirooz will be running another CPD accredited training session for 1 hour. Tickets are £10, plus a small administration fee, which will go straight back into the charity.

VolTrain is for volunteer youth workers in Bristol from small organisations with limited training opportunities. Paid workers may also attend if they are accompanying volunteers.

This session will be looking at Working with LGBTQ+ Young People. We will help you understand the different sexualities and gender identities, and how to work sensitively and respectfully with young people who identify as part of this community.
