Are you running patient and public involvement meetings and groups? This workshop offers the opportunity to reflect on and improve the skills needed to facilitate meetings involving members of the public. It will cover:

  • meeting arrangements and practicalities
  • setting ground rules and chairing skills
  • establishing and maintaining co-chairing arrangements

The workshop will draw on the experiences of participants and provide an opportunity to share learning and ideas.

This four week course will help you learn about the animals and gardens and how to to work safely.  You will help improve the farm and meet new people.  This course is free for adults over 19 years with few or no qualifications.

Healthy Homes Assessment Training will:

● Highlight the basic housing issues that contribute to poor health.
● Enable participants to consider housing issues when assessing the needs of their patients and service users.
● Provide information about our Home from Hospital service.
● Show participants around our home Independence showroom.

It is often difficult to know what to believe. This day is for members of the public who want to make sense of research evidence, and to assess the reliability of the evidence behind health-related headlines.

The course is designed to support anyone who identifies as  disabled or has a long term health condition including learning difficulties, anxiety, depression or dyslexia. Please be advised that you need to be 18+ to access this course. 

If you would benefit from some help with the following this 12 week course is for you:

* Writing and adapting a CV.

* Finding and writing job applications.
