Course Overview

Do you want to learn more about ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)? This course is open to parents who have a child with ADHD or anyone interested in learning more about ADHD in children. This ADHD course also provides an opportunity for you to meet new people. You will be able to discuss and share your experiences with other parents that have a child with ADHD.

Course Overview

This Introduction to Youth Work course is suitable for anyone interested in working or volunteering with young people. It will cover an introduction to good practice, relevant legislation, what makes a good youth worker, planning activities using the NAOMIE model, career opportunities, and the key stages of adolescence. It will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and gain practical experience.

This is a one day training course designed to develop participants’ knowledge and understanding of Borderline Personality Disorder. The course will cover how individuals are diagnosed with BPD and the impact of the symptoms and experiences associated with this diagnosis. Participants’ will have the opportunity to reflect on the range of feelings, attitudes and responses that can arise when supporting people with a BPD diagnosis and learn about helpful responses.
