A practical workshop looking at the benefits of working with groups, and how to understand and work successfully with the different dynamics which can form within them.

VolTrain is a partnership between several organisations, including Bristol City Council, to equip, resource and train volunteer youth workers in the Bristol area. It is open to all volunteer youth workers across both statutory and voluntary sectors and is completely free. Paid workers may also attend if they are accompanying volunteers.

Active Citizens is a four day training course which has been developed by the British Council to support people take a more active role in their communities around the world. The course is delivered in Bristol by Up Our Street, a community organisation in Easton and Lawrence Hill which supports residents to make positive change in their neighbourhoods.

An inspirational workshop which will help adults to develop their confidence, self-esteem and CV. The course includes exploring ways to develop good communication, interpersonal skills, understanding assertiveness and how to put your point across so others will listen.

This course is FREE and is supported by Lloyds Bank.

The course includes FREE lunch from 1 pm to 1.30.

Caring for a family member or friend can be a rewarding and fulfilling experience. But it can be challenging and isolating too. It can be daunting and confusing dealing with professionals, local authorities and benefits. Sometimes it’s difficult to know where to start.  It can also be stressfull so here is a workshop aimed at you looking after yourself, because carers need to be cared for too. 

Carers Support Centre is running a one off workshop to introduce you to relaxation techniques.
