BWV is offering a free evening workshop on October 1st at the Radisson Blu hotel, Bristol, to raise awareness of women’s mental health issues. Booking is essential as numbers are limited. The session aims to increase participants’ awareness of mental health issues to help them understand individuals experiencing emotional distress and/or mental health problems, and also considers ways of improving mental health and recognising the effects of stigma.

Suzanne Pearson is an experienced NHS and social services trainer. and will be running the programme.

Information for Volunteers - Walk to Cure Diabetes 2013

Description of Event:     JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes 2013. This is an annual 3km or 5km sponsored walk, where walkers raise funds for diabetes research. Entertainment is provided before and after the Walk.
