The benefits will enhance how you convey a message with confidence when delivering a talk, presentation or sales pitch.  Running a business involves regularly presenting either formally or informally to clients, other business owners and through different media in order to raise your profile and develop your business.  The better you become at communicating your message the more business you can win.

Bristol City Council is urgently seeking to recruit carers that reflect the diversity of children in care in Bristol. If you are Black, Asian or of mixed parentage and would like to know more about what adoption or fostering entails please come along to our drop in information session. We are also keen to hear from people who can offer short break to disabled children.

Come along between 11 and 1.30 to Muller Hall, Seymour Road, Easton, Bristol and speak to experienced foster carers and workers from the adoption and fostering team.

Bristol City Council is submitting an Expression of Interest to the Big Lottery Fund programme Fulfilling Lives: Ageing Better.

This is a two stage process:  the Expression of Interest is a strategic document, setting out the information, relationships and thinking that the Local Authority has towards older people and reducing social isolation, and for them to demonstrate their ongoing role and commitment to the principles of the Fulfilling Lives Programme.  The Expression of Interest does not identify VCS organisations, partners or project ideas.

The Bristol Modernising Mental Health Programme is hosting an event for potential providers of Mental Health Service in Bristol

From the 1st of April Bristol Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) will be taking over from NHS Bristol responsibility for commissioning the majority of NHS services in Bristol covering its 450,000 residents. Services are purchased from a range of sources including primary care, acute trusts, charities, social enterprises and private providers.

Sue Mountstevens has extended an open invite to the official launch of the Commissioner’s Community Action Fund on Wednesday, May 1 at 1600 at the Colston Hall, Bristol.

Police and Crime Commissioner Sue Mountstevens committed in her swearing in ceremony last November, to making a £200,000 fund available for communities to tackle issues in their local area related to the Police and Crime Plan. Working with the Police Community Trust the PCC is pleased to be able to open the fund for applications at this event.

The fourth Community Energy Forum will take place at the Genesis Centre, Taunton on Saturday 11th May.
