We would like to invite you to join us at Bristol’s Big Green Picnic on Wednesday 29th August 2018.

This exciting event, organised by Bristol Cathedral and the Diocese of Bristol will see College Green host a mass participation picnicking event from 11:30-14:00.


Wednesday, 29 August, 2018 -
10:00 to 14:00

Get creative as a family and make different creatures and models with scrap materials. Let your imagination run wild and recycle unwanted items into something amazing. Two children (aged between 4-14) per adult.

Fridays 10th, 17th and 24th August 10am - 1.30pm

Friday, 10 August, 2018 -
10:00 to 13:30

Get inspired by your favourite stories to create some wild and woolly creatures and more. Using card, wire, fake fur and scrap materials we will cut, stick and build fantastical characters and habitats and watch them come to life. Two children (aged between 4-14) per adult.

Walking football is a;

What: Marmalade Trust is dedicated to raising awareness of loneliness and helping people make new friendships and connections. We launched the first ever Loneliness Awareness Week (LAW) in 2017, which reached over a million people. It placed the extent of loneliness on the national agenda and actively supported those who took part to increase their social contact and make new friendships.

St Pauls Carnival (CIC)  will be holding a ‘Get Involved’ community workshop on February 23rd at the Malcolm X Centre to share plans for this year’s 50th anniversary Carnival and ask local people to help make the event happen.

This event will outline a host of opportunities for individuals and community groups to get involved in the 50th Anniversary of Carnival. The opportunities on offer are varied and numerous, with something for everyone; including fundraising assistance and team leader roles within numerous voluntary groups – including young peoples and environmental groups.
